Our story
Founded in Zurich in 2019, Betreat grew from a simple belief: bringing people together should mean more than organising an event.
It should create the right conditions for people to connect, experience something different and leave with something worth remembering.
Today, we design and deliver corporate experiences across Switzerland and Europe — from intimate leadership retreats to large-scale international productions.

The founders
MAXI
Co-Founder · Creative Direction & Experiences
Hospitality has been part of Maxi’s life since he was 18, when he started working night shifts at a boutique hotel. His career later took him through events, venue sourcing and luxury hospitality, from Switzerland to Sydney and back. At Betreat, he combines that experience with a passion for creative ideas, design, technology and bringing people together. He’s naturally curious, positive and hands-on — always looking for a smarter, more memorable way to turn an idea into an experience. And when things get complicated, that’s usually when he gets most involved.
THÉO
Co-Founder · Business Development & Operations
Théo brings energy, positivity and a genuine love for people to everything he does. He enjoys being around others, building relationships and making sure people feel looked after. He combines that natural connection with a highly organised and structured approach, bringing the administrative side of complex projects together without losing sight of the experience. Always curious and looking for a better way to do things, Théo brings ideas, energy and a calm sense of responsibility to every project.
