Betreat’s scope
The brief
The challenge
The brief went beyond architectural sightseeing. The programme needed to make space for honest exchange on the realities behind urban development: affordability, sustainable energy, mobility, placemaking, challenges and the solutions that follow.
The thinking
Betreat shaped the trip as a sequence of expert encounters and city routes. The programme included DAC and Nordhavn, Copenhagen Inner Harbour, SHL, Carlsberg Byen, Jernbanebyen, Cactus Towers, Copenhagen Snake and Banegaarden — connecting built projects with the people and decisions behind them.
Betreat’s role
Designed
The three-day educational journey and programme across architecture, urban development and sustainability — including guided routes, studio visits and expert exchange.
Sourced
Local architecture and urban-development partners, access to relevant sites and experts, 50 double rooms for single use at 1 Hotel Copenhagen, restaurants and transport coordination.
Delivered
Participant communications, event app, airport and local transport, on-site delivery, and an optional CopenHill 5-Match activity for a small subgroup.
Outcome
Build My Event
Give us the brief, the ambition or simply the problem you’re trying to solve. We’ll turn it into an experience worth remembering.
